The February 2026 issue of dotSpotlight spotlights five diverse creators and builders from the global digital economy. With three Guinness World Records, his social enterprise not just helps the less fortunate ones without adequate access to electricity and light in the Philippines, but also provides an open-source, sustainable solution to the world. Kate Woon, also known as Woonjii, is a Hong Kong–based DJ Producer, vinyl collector, and experimental sound artist known for her leftfield, dissonant, and eclectic selections. She’s also a Co-Founder of the experimental collective yisekai, and is a pioneer in Hong Kong’s underground music scene. We talked to her about Hong Kong’s vinyl underground and building an experimental sound community. Stephen Wang is best known as a Co-Founder of Rotten Tomatoes, the film and television review aggregation website in the ’90s that became one of the most influential references for audiences deciding what to watch.
